Motorcycles come in various shapes, sizes, and functionalities, each designed to cater to specific riding preferences and styles. Understanding the different types of motorcycles can help prospective buyers choose the right bike that suits their needs and riding goals.

Safety and Injuries

Regardless of the type of motorcycle listed below that you choose, safety should always be a top priority. Different types of motorcycles come with varying levels of risk, and understanding these can help in taking appropriate precautions.

Common Injuries:

  • Road Rash: Abrasions caused by sliding on pavement, common in crashes involving sport and standard motorcycles.
  • Fractures: Broken bones, particularly in the arms, legs, and collarbone, can occur in all types of motorcycle crashes.
  • Head Injuries: Despite wearing helmets, riders can still suffer from concussions or more severe head injuries, especially in high-speed crashes involving sport motorcycles.

How to Safely Maneuver Driving in the Snow

Photo by Katie Doherty on Unsplash

Driving in snow presents unique challenges that require specific skills and preparation. Whether you’re a seasoned winter driver or facing your first snowy season behind the wheel, understanding how to safely maneuver in these conditions is crucial. Snow can reduce traction, impair visibility, and make normal driving maneuvers much more difficult.

Preparing Your Vehicle

Before the snow starts falling, it’s important to prepare your vehicle for winter conditions:

  1. Install winter tires or snow chains. These provide better traction in snow and ice compared to all-season tires.
  2. Check and maintain proper fluid levels, especially antifreeze and windshield washer fluid rated for low temperatures.
  3. Ensure your battery is in good condition, as cold weather can reduce its effectiveness.
  4. Prepare an emergency kit including a shovel, ice scraper, jumper cables, flashlight, blankets, snacks, and a first-aid kit.

Pre-Drive Preparations

Before setting out on snowy roads:

  1. Clear all snow and ice from your vehicle, including the roof, hood, and trunk. A car crash lawyer relayed that snow left on top can slide onto your windshield while driving and cause an accident.
  2. Ensure all windows, mirrors, and lights are clear and functioning properly for maximum visibility.
  3. Warm up your vehicle for a few minutes to ensure proper functioning, but avoid idling for too long to prevent wasting fuel and unnecessary emissions.

Adjusting Your Driving Technique

Driving in snow requires a different approach:

  1. Reduce your speed significantly. Posted speed limits are for ideal conditions, which snow is not.
  2. Increase your following distance to at least 5-6 seconds. This gives you more time to react to any situations ahead.
  3. Use smooth, gradual movements when accelerating, braking, or steering. Sudden actions can cause your vehicle to lose traction.
  4. Avoid using cruise control, which can cause your vehicle to accelerate when it loses traction.

Handling Skids

If you find your vehicle skidding:

  1. For a front-wheel skid (understeer), ease off the gas and steer straight until you regain traction.
  2. For a rear-wheel skid (oversteer), steer into the direction of the skid and gently accelerate to transfer weight to the rear wheels.
  3. If your vehicle has anti-lock brakes (ABS), apply firm, continuous pressure to the brake pedal during emergency stops. The system will pulse the brakes automatically.

Navigating Specific Road Conditions

Different road situations require specific techniques:

  1. When driving uphill, gain some momentum on flat ground before starting your ascent. Avoid stopping if possible.
  2. When descending, reduce your speed before starting downhill and use low gear to assist in slowing down.
  3. Be extra cautious on bridges and overpasses, which freeze before other road surfaces.
  4. Give snowplows and salt trucks plenty of space. Never try to pass a snowplow on the right.

Visibility Concerns

Maintaining good visibility is crucial:

  1. Use your headlights to see and be seen, even during daylight hours.
  2. Be prepared for glare from snow, especially on sunny days. Use polarized sunglasses if necessary.
  3. In whiteout conditions, pull over if possible. If you must continue, use the right edge of the road or snow poles as a guide.

Emergency Situations

If you find yourself in trouble:

  1. If you get stuck, clear snow from around your tires and use sand, kitty litter, or your floor mats for traction. Rock the vehicle gently between drive and reverse.
  2. If you break down, stay with your vehicle. Run the engine and heater for about 10 minutes each hour, opening a downwind window slightly for ventilation.
  3. If conditions become too severe, find a safe place to pull over and wait it out.

Technology and Assistance Systems

Modern vehicles come with various systems to aid winter driving:

  1. Traction control helps prevent wheel spin during acceleration.
  2. Stability control helps maintain directional control in slippery conditions.
  3. Four-wheel and all-wheel drive can provide better traction but don’t help with braking. Don’t let these features give you a false sense of security.

Remember that while these systems can help, they have limitations and can’t overcome the laws of physics.

Post-Drive Care

After driving in snow:

  1. Clean your vehicle thoroughly, especially the undercarriage, to prevent salt and road chemicals from causing corrosion.
  2. Check for any damage or unusual wear that may have occurred during your snowy drive.

Staying Safe

Driving in snow requires extra caution, preparation, and a different set of skills compared to normal driving conditions. By following these guidelines, you can significantly increase your safety and confidence when navigating snowy roads. Remember:

  1. Preparation is key – both for your vehicle and your driving mindset.
  2. Slow down and leave plenty of space between you and other vehicles.
  3. Use smooth, gradual movements and avoid sudden actions.
  4. Be prepared for emergencies and know how to handle skids.
  5. Understand the limitations of your vehicle’s safety systems.

Most importantly, always assess the conditions and your own comfort level. If you don’t feel safe driving in the current weather, it’s always better to delay your trip or find alternative transportation. No destination is worth risking your safety.

With practice and the right approach, you can navigate snowy roads safely and confidently. Stay alert, stay cautious, and enjoy the winter wonderland from the safety of your well-prepared vehicle.

Raceway, leading the field across the line at the end of Stage 1.

Martin Truex Jr., Driver of the No. 19 Auto-Owners Insurance Toyota Camry XSE

Michigan has been a place where you’ve been very consistent but haven’t quite been able to break through with a win. What are your thoughts heading into the weekend?

“Michigan is the fastest track we go to. It’s really hard to hold your foot down going into turn one. Your brain is telling you that you need to start lifting, but usually the car can take a bit more. It’s super, super fast and the commitment level is very high. And the groove is not really wide, which is different than, say, Fontana, where you can go really fast but the groove is very wide. You miss it by a few inches there you will be OK. At Michigan, not so much, especially when the traction compound is live, it’s very sketchy and on edge. We’ve been very consistent there in my time with JGR, but James (Small, crew chief) and the guys have been bringing fast cars. Hoping Michigan is another place we add to the win list this weekend with our Auto-Owners Insurance Camry. Really would love to get Auto-Owners a win at their home track. They’ll have a lot of people at the track cheering us on Sunday and hope we can make them proud.”

Last year, you had a runner-up finish at Michigan and almost pulled off the win. What worked so well for you there last year?

“I think we just needed a little longer run at the end of the race and we might have been able to catch the 17 (Chris Buescher). I felt like we were a little better, but it was just really hard to pass the leader on equal tires. Our Auto-Owners Camry was a rocket last year – just the leader in clean air was really, really hard to pass, which is usually the case. We just didn’t quite have enough, but I’m hoping things work out a little bit better for us and we can turn that strong finish from last year into a win this time around.”

With Auto-Owners right up the road in Lansing, Michigan, what has Auto-Owners meant to you as a longtime partner over the years, and how big is the Michigan weekend for them?

“They’ve meant a ton. I was able to visit the office there recently and get to see all the employees, and I have so many supporters there over the years. This is the eighth year they’ve been a partner of the teams I’ve driven for. Can’t thank them all enough for all of their support over the years, they are a special group. Going to be fun to see everyone with Auto-Owners Insurance at the track one more time at Michigan this weekend. We have a lot of visits to make and it will be great to get to thank them in person, as well.”

How much confidence do you have coming into the weekend?

“For sure, it’s been a tough couple of months, finish-wise. Speed-wise, aside from maybe just a few races like Iowa, we’ve been solid. Just need to capitalize on that and execute. It takes a lot of things to win races, lead laps, stay up front and have fast cars, so hope we can put it all together this weekend. But I feel good about it. Yeah, just kind of been in a slump for a little while now and we’ve had fast cars like we had at Richmond, and then bad things have happened that have kept us from good finishes.”

  • Keselowski makes his 27th Cup start in Michigan this weekend where he has an average finish of 12.3 and 14 top-10s.
  • Despite no wins at his home track, Keselowski has eight results inside the top five with three runner-up finishes (2012, 2018, 2020).
  • The Rochester Hills native has six top-10s in his last nine starts, and ran fourth a season ago after leading 15 laps in the race his teammate won.
  • He has two career Cup poles at MIS (2017, 2019) and 10 overall starts inside the top-10.
  • Keselowski has an additional nine combined starts at MIS in the Xfinity and Truck Series with two NXS wins (2009, 2010).

Poles: 1 (2020)

  • Buescher is the defending race winner at Michigan, having led 52 laps a season ago after qualifying fourth.
  • Buescher’s best finish prior was back in 2017 when he finished sixth, one of his two career top-10s at the track.
  • He carries an average starting position of 18.5 with a pole back in 2020, and the P4 starting position last season.
  • Buescher also made three NXS starts at MIS and finished top-10 in all three with a best finish of P4 in 2015.

Cup Wins: 13 (Mark Martin, 1990, 1993, 1997, 1998; Matt Kenseth, 2002, 2006; Kurt Busch, 2003; Greg Biffle, 2004, 2005, 2012, 2013; Carl Edwards, 2007, 2008; Chris Buescher, 2023)

  • Home Sweet Home: Michigan International Speedway serves as ‘home’ for Jack Roush and RFK Racing, located just an hour from Roush Industries in Livonia, Michigan. MIS has naturally been one of the organization’s most successful tracks on the circuit, with the team earning a total of 24 wins across NASCAR’s three major touring series.
  • I Said Welcome to Detroit City: In 223 NCS starts at Michigan, RFK has recorded 14 wins, 58 top-fives and 104 top-10 finishes with 2,520 laps led. Greg Biffle’s win back in 2013 was the 1,000th NASCAR victory for Ford Performance.
  • Roush vs. Everyone Else: RFK’s 14 wins in the NCS at Michigan are the most of any track on the NCS schedule. Six different drivers have earned victories for RFK at the two-mile oval with former drivers Mark Martin and Biffle both taking the checkered flag on four separate occasions. Searching for a Personal Injury Lawyer: What to Look For

Photo by Cytonn Photography on Unsplash

There is a good chance you will be injured at some point due to someone else’s negligent actions. Your injury may require you to spend time in and out of the hospital, missing work, or battling with insurance companies. At that point, you may imagine that you cannot afford to hire a lawyer or successfully receive compensation for your injuries.

However, thousands of successful personal injury cases have had one thing in common: a good lawyer. A personal injury attorney plays a vital role in a personal injury case; they handle the entire lawsuit masterfully. That includes gathering valuable evidence for a possible trial, negotiating with insurers, and getting maximum compensation.

Through your lawyer’s assistance, you can focus your already-spent energy on healing and recovery. However, getting the right lawyer is important for the case to be successful. This article, therefore, explains how you can find the right lawyer to represent you in your personal injury case.

Finding the Perfect Attorney Can Be Seamless.

It can be overwhelming to think of the many choices you have when it comes to hiring a personal injury lawyer. However, you do not have to overthink it; you can get a good lawyer in the following steps:

Ask a friend, family member, or colleague.

You can start with critical referrals from close friends, colleagues, or family members who have worked with a personal injury lawyer. They want you to have a successful outcome so that they will give you an unbiased and honest point of view.

Search Online

If none of your loved ones can refer you to a good lawyer, you can research local firms online. Study each one to narrow the list down to the most promising firms. Then, start interviewing attorneys one after the other, sticking with the one you feel most comfortable with.

Choose a Standard Firm

Many personal injury firms will promise you quality service, but not all deliver as promised. Look for a firm with sufficient information about their attorneys, including their certifications.

Also, you must be able to contact them quickly, and there must be a 24/7 chat box if you do not appreciate phone conversations.

You should also read the firm’s history to understand what motivates its attorneys to win. You can also read unbiased reviews of the firm’s past clients and contact them.

Check the lawyer’s background

Lawyers have backgrounds across various areas of law, depending on which area they work in. For example, a personal injury lawyer may have more insight into significant truck incidents, civil rights, dangerous drugs, or medical malpractice. Look for a lawyer who is not just a personal injury lawyer but also understands the circumstances of your particular case.

Interview Your Lawyer

Be sure to interview your potential lawyer; ask questions. For example, ask for a history of previous cases similar to yours that they have handled and their outcomes. Your lawyer should gladly give you their past clients’ names for you to look up if you want to.

Conclusion

To find a personal injury lawyer for your case, you need to understand what makes a good lawyer in the first place.

A personal injury law firm should provide a free and confidential consultation to let you ask all your questions. Considering how long your case will likely last and how personal attorney-client relationships are, choosing the right lawyer is essential.

Matte vs. Glossy Car Wraps: Which is Right for You?

Car wraps have become a popular choice for vehicle customisation, offering a wide range of colours, finishes, and designs that can transform the appearance of any car. Among the most popular finishes are matte and glossy wraps, each with unique appeal and characteristics.

Choosing between these finishes can be challenging, as both have distinct advantages and disadvantages.

Understanding Car Wraps

Before delving into the specifics of matte and glossy finishes, it’s essential to understand car wraps and why they have gained popularity. Car wraps are large vinyl decals or graphics applied directly over a vehicle’s original paint.

They offer an alternative to traditional paint jobs, allowing for greater customisation, protection, and the ability to change the car’s appearance without permanent alterations. Car wraps are typically made from high-quality vinyl materials that are durable, flexible, and resistant to environmental factors such as UV rays, dirt, and moisture, especially if you opt for specialised vehicle wraps

Depending on the desired effect, these wraps can be applied to the entire vehicle or specific parts. One of the key benefits of car wraps is their reversibility, meaning they can be removed without damaging the underlying paint, making them an attractive option for car enthusiasts and businesses alike.

Matte Car Wraps: The Bold and Subtle Choice

Matte car wraps have gained significant popularity recently due to their unique, understated appearance. Unlike traditional glossy finishes that reflect light, matte wraps have a non-reflective surface that gives the car a sleek and sophisticated look. Let’s explore the advantages and disadvantages of matte car wraps.

Advantages of Matte Car Wraps

  • Unique Aesthetic Appeal: Matte wraps provide a distinctive and modern look that sets a vehicle apart from the crowd. The muted finish exudes elegance and sophistication, making it a popular choice for luxury cars and sports vehicles.
  • Conceal Imperfections: Matte wraps’ non-reflective surface can help conceal minor imperfections, scratches, and dents on the vehicle’s body, providing a smoother overall appearance.
  • Easy Maintenance: Matte wraps do not show fingerprints, smudges, or water spots as prominently as glossy finishes, making them easier to maintain and keep looking clean.
  • Non-Reflective Surface: Matte wraps’ lack of glare can enhance visibility and reduce eye strain for drivers and onlookers, especially in bright sunlight.
  • Versatility: Matte finishes are available in various colours, allowing endless customisation options to match personal style and preferences.

Disadvantages of Matte Car Wraps

  • Limited Color Options: While matte wraps offer various colours, the range is not as extensive as glossy finishes, which may limit customisation possibilities for some individuals.
  • Difficult Repairs: Repairing damage to matte wraps can be challenging, as colour-matching and texture can be more complex than glossy wraps.
  • Higher Cost: Matte wraps often come at a higher price point than glossy wraps due to the specialised materials and application techniques required.
  • Prone to Staining: Matte wraps can be more susceptible to staining from substances such as bird droppings, tree sap, and oil, requiring prompt cleaning to prevent damage.
  • Limited Lifespan: While durable, matte wraps may not last as long as glossy wraps, especially if exposed to harsh weather conditions or improper maintenance.

Glossy Car Wraps: The Classic and Eye-Catching Option

Glossy car wraps offer a more traditional and eye-catching appearance, with their reflective surface creating a vibrant and shiny finish. This type of wrap is often favoured by those who want their vehicle to stand out and make a bold statement. Let’s examine the advantages and disadvantages of glossy car wraps.

Advantages of Glossy Car Wraps

  • Vibrant and Eye-Catching: Glossy wraps are known for their bright and shiny appearance, making them ideal for those who want their car to be noticed. The reflective surface enhances colour vibrancy, giving the vehicle a fresh and polished look.
  • Wider Color Range: Glossy wraps come in a vast array of colours and shades, providing more options for customisation and personalisation.
  • Easier Repairs: Repairing glossy wraps is often more straightforward than matte wraps, as matching colours and textures are less complex.
  • Lower Cost: Glossy wraps are generally more affordable than matte wraps, making them a cost-effective option for those on a budget.
  • Enhanced Durability: The smooth, reflective surface of glossy wraps provides added protection against environmental factors, extending the wrap’s lifespan.

Disadvantages of Glossy Car Wraps

  • Show Imperfections: Glossy wraps’ reflective nature can highlight imperfections, scratches, and dents on the vehicle’s surface, making them more visible.
  • Higher Maintenance: Glossy wraps require more frequent cleaning to maintain shine, as they can easily show fingerprints, smudges, and water spots.
  • Potential Glare: The reflective surface of glossy wraps can create glare in bright sunlight, potentially affecting visibility for drivers and onlookers.
  • Common Appearance: While glossy wraps are vibrant and eye-catching, they are more common than matte finishes, making achieving a unique and distinctive look harder.
  • Less Subtle: Glossy wraps may be too bold and flashy for those seeking a more understated and sophisticated appearance.

Making the Decision: Matte or Glossy?

Ultimately, the choice between matte and glossy car wraps comes down to personal preferences, budget, and the desired aesthetic for your vehicle. Here are a few scenarios to help guide your decision:

Choose Matte Wraps If:

  • You prefer a subtle and sophisticated appearance.
  • You want a unique look that stands out from the crowd.
  • You value easy maintenance and a non-reflective surface.
  • You are willing to invest in a higher-cost wrap for its aesthetic appeal.

Choose Glossy Wraps If:

  • You desire a vibrant and eye-catching finish.
  • You want a wide range of colour options for customisation.
  • You are looking for a cost-effective option with easier repair possibilities.
  • You prefer a classic and shiny appearance.

Final Words

Matte and glossy car wraps offer distinct advantages and disadvantages. Whether you choose the bold and understated appeal of a matte wrap or the vibrant and shiny finish of a glossy wrap, both options can transform the look of your vehicle and provide a unique touch of personalisation.

Considering factors such as aesthetic preferences, budget, maintenance requirements, and vehicle type can help you make an informed decision that aligns with your style and needs. Ultimately, the right choice will enhance your vehicle’s appearance and make a statement on the road.

How Beatbot iSkim Ultra Robotic Pool Skimmer Improves Pool Health and Water Quality

Enhancing Pool Health and Water Quality with Beatbot iSkim Ultra

In order to have a fun and safe time while swimming, it is very important for the pool’s water quality and overall condition to be as good as possible. If a pool looks nice and clean this is obviously more attractive but there are also health reasons why water should be free from dirt and debris.

Beatbot’s iSkim Ultra robotic pool skimmer has been designed using the latest technology which means it does much more than just skim leaves, in fact it could revolutionise how pools are maintained altogether. The device works by continuously filtering and circulating water so one will never see debris floating on surface, further it also monitors levels of harmful bacteria meaning fewer chemicals such as chlorine are needed.

Without regular manual intervention from an individual cleaning their pool, for instance, with a net every couple of hours, daily operation ensures there is less stuff like dead insects lying at the bottom. Plus, the overall system uses less electricity than a traditional pump.

For all these reasons, anybody wanting perfect swims whenever they take a dip should seriously consider investing in this product!

Advanced Filtration System

At the heart of the Beatbot iSkim Ultra is a cutting-edge filtration system that offers unbeatable cleaning performance. What makes it so effective? It uses an advanced high-efficiency filter, actually several layers of filters to gather up all kinds of dirt and debris.

From nasty bits you can barely see like pollen grains and micro-organisms, through to larger things such as twigs and leaves, this system has got them covered! And because these items don’t simply vanish into your pool once they’ve been sucked up, there are also finer mesh filters which catch particles further along in the process.

So why worry about invisible muck anyway? Well apart from anything else it looks after water quality which means less work for you in the long run. Plus if fine debris etc., isn’t removed as efficiently from circulation areas you might find some settles becoming visible nasties later on.

If everything has gone according plan then every so often when needed there will even be a bit self-cleaning going down too, just so those previously mentioned filters maintain their top performance level without any help from humans doing odd jobs around home pools at weekends.

How big difference does this make visually speaking? Quite big as things turn out! By getting rid of smaller rubbish & co BBU’s latest offering ensures your pool water stays looking great, no more murky clouds or bits floating towards feet while having afternoon dip with new friends you’ve made since installing pool three days ago.

Prevention of Algae and Contaminants

To maintain a clean and healthy pool environment, the Beatbot iSkim Ultra is an effective tool for both preventing algae growth and tackling the main causes of contaminants in pools such as leaves or twigs which can also be food sources for algae.

The pool-cleaning robot does this job continuously, it skims debris off surfaces so well that there’s less organic material floating around waiting to become an algal meal ticket—ahead-of-the-game tactic that means fewer chance encounters between the two types organisms.

The reason why all this matters is because even though nobody wants green slimy stuff clogging up their facilities nobody wants potentially harmful bugs either! But here again technology can help out, by a process known as cleaning noted above, machines such as these can reduce levels not just of dirt but also various microorganisms are linked with poorly maintained waters.

Enhanced Water Circulation

The Beatbot iSkim Ultra boosts pool water circulation by efficiently removing debris from the surface. It uses powerful suction and advanced skimming technology to make sure leaves, dirt and other dirt never have a chance to settle down to the bottom or float on top for very long!

Stagnant areas are bad because they keep your chemicals from spreading out properly. If there’s too much gunk in one spot the water won’t flow well past it so all parts of the pool get an equal treatment with things like sanitizers balancing agents.

When these products can move freely around the pool thanks largely due to not-a-lot-of-things-being-stuck-its-way they work better everywhere, especially important when you consider that a lot better than nothing happening at all anywhere.

You know those times when you’re told, probably by a lifeguard, friend or parent who thinks they know everything tune out of course but this once pay attention that peeing in the pool’s gross?

Well, they have a point, which we’ll explain in detail shortly, but for now, let us just say our bot deals with the problem brilliantly, too.

User Experience and Maintenance

With the user in mind, the Beatbot iSkim Ultra makes cleaning your pool easy thanks to many features that streamline maintenance tasks. A user-friendly interface with programmable settings lets you decide when this robotic cleaner should spruce up the place, even if that means every day, because it has been designed for optimal performance and minimal fuss.

Plus there’s an advanced filtration system onboard along self-cleaning mechanisms meaning less frequent manual skimmer checks are needed! And don’t worry about what kind dirt or leaves end up clogging things, they can handle pretty much anything efficiently.

If all these features haven’t already impressed you then consider their high-capacity collection baskets which require emptying less often than those found on rival models saving time and effort overall.

In short, it enables its owners to enjoy a consistently clean, clear pool with minimum hassle, leaving them free to spend more hours simply relaxing or having fun swimming. Being forced into doing loads of boring old chores after work beats that any day!

Conclusion

The Beatbot iSkim Ultra is essential for keeping your pool clean and healthy. It uses a top-of-the-line filtration system to remove debris, prevent algae growth, and ensure water is always moving.

Its circulation abilities work so well that water quality distribution of chemicals remains even throughout, which can be important when things like chlorine are used.

To sum up, if you own a pool and want an easy way to ensure the water stays nice for swimming all the time and doesn’t look dirty, get yourself one of these bad boys!

Because an advanced design that does multiple jobs at once requires less work overall from human beings like yourself, this could result in a healthier bank balance and happier summer days spent outdoors oscillating between reading novels and drinking cold beers. “Keep it Super Clean, Ultra Healthy™️ with our product!”

Meyer Shank Racing Back in Action at WWTR Oval

Pataskala, Ohio (12 August 2024) – After a three-week break built around the Summer Olympic Games, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) will launch a homestretch run starting with the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 on Saturday (6:00pm ET, USA, SiriusXM Ch. 218).

MSR drivers Felix Rosenqvist (No. 60 AutoNation / SiriusXM Honda) and David Malukas (No. 66 AutoNation / Arctic Wolf Honda) kick off the final month of the season which will consist of four ovals in five races.

The team will look to maintain the qualifying momentum gained in the two races before the break as both Rosenqvist and Malukas started in the top 10 at Iowa and Toronto. Work over the three-week break focused on converting those results into race-day success as MSR seeks to end the season in the same strong fashion it showed at the start of the year.

The previous two races saw Rosenqvist suffer issues that led to consecutive DNFs (Did Not Finish) for the first time this season, but will look to rebound as the Swedish driver seeks to reclaim a top-10 spot in the season standings.

Things are more positive for the No. 66 car as Malukas has taken it to its best finishes of the year since taking over the seat five races ago. He capped that run with a sixth-place result in Toronto and is poised to move into the top 20 in points despite missing the first half of the season with a wrist injury.

Malukas has great reason for optimism heading to the 1.25-mile oval located outside of St. Louis, Missouri as the young driver has finished second (2022) and third (2023) in his only two starts there. Rosenqvist has three top-10 results in his six previous starts at WWT Raceway and has led in three of those starts as well. MSR is looking for its first top-10 finish there since 2021, but the team has earned a pair of top-10 starting spots in its seven previous WWTR starts.

Qualifying on the oval takes place Friday evening with coverage beginning at 4:20pm ET on Peacock. Coverage of Saturday night’s 260-lap race begins at 6pm ET on USA Network and Peacock. All of the action can also be heard live on Sirius XM Radio, Channel 218.

Meyer Shank Racing Driver Quotes:

Felix Rosenqvist: “It’s been good for everyone to have this break and I feel like we’ve recovered the fire to get back into the fight. We’re definitely going into the oval part of the season and I’m ready to turn left!”

David Malukas: “I’m excited to return to World Wide Technology Raceway this weekend. This track has been amazing for me, with back-to-back NTT INDYCAR SERIES podiums in the last two years. The energy and incredible support from the fans make it a truly special place. I’m ready to see what we can achieve this year and push for another great result!”
