The NASCAR Cup Series and the Camping World Truck Series head to Kansas Speedway this weekend while the Xfinity Series enjoys a week off from competition.
Joey Logano won the pole for the NASCAR Cup Series Goodyear 400 at Darlington after posting a lap of 28.805 (170.720 mph) Saturday morning during qualifying.
Chase Elliott scored his first win of the season last week at Dover Motor Speedway, effectively putting to rest any concerns that he or his team were struggling this year. Elliott, however, was never worried.
“Just being able to see the fans enjoying themselves whether it be in the campgrounds or the stands, we missed that for about 2 1/2 years with the pandemic,” he said. “I’m looking forward with a lot of anticipation to seeing that again.”

This weekend the NASCAR Cup Series and the Xfinity Series travel to the one-mile concrete paved oval of Dover Motor Speedway, aptly nicknamed, the Monster Mile.
The 29-year-old Chastain from Alva, Florida, rallied from an early pit road speeding penalty to overtake Erik Jones on the final lap through the tri-oval to claim his second career win in NASCAR's premier series.
