NASCAR DRIVER SCOTT WIMMER CONDUCTING AUTOGRAPH SESSION NEAR LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
The Springhill Suites by Marriott located in Henderson, Nevada, always a popular spot for race fans visiting nearby Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will host a NASCAR style autograph party featuring Key Motorsports driver Scott Wimmer this Friday, March 4, 2011.
Wimmer, who is in town to compete in Saturday’s Sam’s Town 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series event, will be available at the hotel from 8:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. local time to meet with race fans, pose for photos and sign autographs.
“I really enjoy racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway,” said Wimmer. “The fans that come to Las Vegas are very supportive, very enthusiastic, and I am looking forward to meeting with them and having a good time Friday evening at Springhill Suites in Henderson. We always enjoy visiting the folks at Springhill Suites when we go out to Las Vegas, they have a great staff that knows how to take care of you.”
The Springhill Suites by Marriott, known among race fans for great accommodations has signed on as an associate sponsor of Wimmer and the #40 Key Motorsports Chevrolet for Saturday’s Sam’s Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Wimmer recorded an 11th-place finish in his most recent outing with Key Motorsports at the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the 2009 Sam’s Town 300.
