Signature BUBBA burger Contest, Part Two: This One’s for the Fans

Fans Encouraged to Submit BUBBA burger® Creations for a Chance at Prizes

Last year, BUBBA burger® and Richmond International Raceway launched the “Signature BUBBA burger® Contest,” which featured NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers submitting their burger creations. 2011 Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne was crowned BUBBA burger® champion after judges tasted his scrumptious “Big Cheese,” featuring three cheeses and crispy bacon. This year, fans are invited to submit their creations for a chance to win some great prizes, including race tickets, pre-race ceremony access and lots of BUBBA burgers®.

It’s easy for fans to enter the contest. Fans should submit their “Signature BUBBA burger® Creation”—which is open to basically anything edible that you can pair up with your BUBBA burger®—and send it in via e-mail to ririnfo@rir.com. Of course you don’t send the actual burger, but fans can submit their creation in writing, picture or video. Finalists receive tickets to the BUBBA burger 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race and the Crown Royal Presents The Matthew & Daniel Hansen 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The winner receives pre-race ceremony passes for both races and a month’s supply of BUBBA burgers®.

A committee comprised of BUBBA burger® and Richmond International Raceway officials will select two finalists, who will be invited to participate in a “cook off” on the afternoon of Friday, April 29, prior to the BUBBA burger 250. Finalists must be present for the “cook off” to be eligible for the grand prize.

If you aren’t familiar with all the different BUBBA burger® options, log on to www.bubbafoods.com and check out the Original, Reduced Fat, Certified Angus, Sweet Onion, Jalapeno, the Minis (think BUBBA burger® sliders) and the Turkey BUBBA burger®. Those options serve as your canvas, now paint your masterpiece with all the toppings, condiments and extras you want—extra points for creativity.

The deadline to enter is Friday, April 22 at 3:00 p.m. Finalists will be notified via e-mail or phone. Finalists must be able to attend the “cook off” on Friday, April 29, prior to the BUBBA burger 250. If selected finalists are unable to attend, alternates who can attend will be selected. Complete rules and regulations can be found by clicking here.
