MOORESVILLE, NC (April 20, 2011)- Officials of Rusty Wallace Racing (RWR) announced today that Flatout Flatbread will serve as primary sponsor of the team’s No. 64–piloted by David Reutimann–in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Nashville Superspeedway.
Michigan-based Flatout sells tasty and healthy flatbreads in deli and bakery sections of nearly all major grocery retailers and drug chains across the country. Flatout is the fastest growing bread in America.
The Nashville race will mark the first time that RWR has fielded three cars in a Nationwide Series race. Pairing Reutimann and the Nashville venue with a sponsor whose name includes “flat-out” seems appropriate for the event; Reutimann’s Nationwide Series record at Nashville includes three top-fives and six top-tens in eight attempts.
Stated RWR team owner Rusty Wallace, “We’re really excited to debut a third car this weekend with David Reutimann aboard. It should provide our team with yet another very good source of feedback on our cars. I’d really like to thank the folks at Flatout Flatbread for sponsoring David and the No. 64 team in Nashville. Hopefully their “flat-out” name will rub off on our guys this weekend.”
