Turner Motorsports Adds Blake Feese to its Driver Line-up for the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Season

Mooresville, NC (April 21, 2011) – Turner Motorsports is pleased to announce the addition of Blake Feese to their all-star driver line-up for the 2011 season. The 29-year-old Feese will join teammates Ricky Carmichael, Mark Martin, James Buescher and Brad Sweet in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), piloting the No. 32 Turner Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado in select events this season. He will make his debut with Turner Motorsports at Nashville Superspeedway in July.

Feese got his start racing Quarter Midgets when he was ten years old. He progressed through the national sprint car racing ranks, winning numerous track championships and prestigious feature events in 410winged-sprints, including wins at Knoxville Raceway and Eldora Speedway, as well as The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the World of Outlaw Series. In 2003, he made the switch to stock cars, finishing 11th in his ARCA Racing Series (ARS) debut. In 2004, he partnered with Hendrick Motorsports to run four ARS events, winning in his first outing with the organization at Nashville Superspeedway. That season his ARS record included two victories (Nashville Superspeedway and Talladega Superspeedway), two top-five and four top-10 finishes. That same year he made his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) debut, competing in seven events. The next year he competed in six NNS races and also made his NCWTS debut at Kentucky Speedway. After taking a break from stock car racing in 2006, the Saybrook, Ill.-native returned to the ARS, running a limited schedule and earning one top-five and four top-10 finishes in four starts. In 2009, he made his second NCWTS start at Nashville Superspeedway, bringing home a 12th-place finish after qualifying 18th.

For his part, Feese is thrilled to be joining Turner Motorsports and realizes the magnitude of having such a great opportunity put in front of him.

“I’m very happy to be joining the Turner Motorsports team and am excited about running in the NASCARCamping World Truck Series again with great teammates like Ricky Carmichael and James Buescher. I want to thank Mr. Turner for this opportunity. No one could be more excited about being a part of this great organization than I am right now.”
