Kimmel Racing Prepares for Messina Wildlife Animal Stopper 150

Cornelius, NC – There has never been a two-time winner for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards in the 11 years that the series has competed at Chicagoland Speedway. On Saturday, June 4th during the Messina Wildlife Animal Stopper 150, Frank Kimmel will look to change that history. It’s been eight years since Frank Kimmel stood in Victory Lane at Chicagoland Speedway, but if his recent finishes are any indication of what is to come, then the future looks bright.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards returns to Chicagoland Speedway this Sunday for the Messina Wildlife Animal Stopper 150. This mile-and-a -half concrete oval with wide sweeping turns has been one of Kimmel’s best tracks. He has an average finishing position of eighth and he has finished in fifth and fourth place the past two years, respectively.

Kimmel will be driving the Roush-Yates powered No. 44 Ansell-Menards Ford next weekend. He recently had a strong sixth-place finish on May 22nd at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Frank Kimmel will also try to make up ground in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards overall standings. He trails the current leader, Ty Dillon, by only 90 points.

Activities for Frank Kimmel begin with two Menards store location visits on Thursday, June 2, as the driver is set to sign autographs, pose for pictures, and even offer a special promotion to store customers. Kimmel will appear at the Crest Hills Menards store near I-55 – 17441 Weber Road – at 4:00 p.m. He will then visit the Joliet location off of Highway 7 – 2524 W. Jefferson Street – at 6:30 p.m. Each appearance will last 90 minutes. Store visitors can take advantage of a special promotion at either location, simply by purchasing a pair of Ansell gloves inside the store. Those purchasing Ansell gloves inside Menards will receive a voucher for a free second pair of gloves, personally handed over by Kimmel outside the store.

“We have fun at the Menards locations and fans get excited to take photos by the #44 Ansell-Menards Ford. I always encourage everyone to come and hang out with me while they’re doing some shopping at Menards,” said Frank.

Finally, on Saturday night, Kimmel looks to make history by becoming the first two-time winner in the Messina Wildlife Animal Stopper 150 under the lights at Chicagoland Speedway. Frank Kimmel will try to change history by harnessing his skills of blue-collar work ethic, veteran experience, and unwavering tenacity.

“We put in a lot of hours over the off-season working on our mile and a half program, so I’m looking forward to seeing how our Ansell-Menards runs in that first practice session. We’re always in the hunt at Chicagoland and it would be nice to put the Ansell-Menards Ford back in victory lane for Messina Wildlife, Ansell and Menards,” concluded Frank Kimmel.

Watch for Frank Kimmel as he goes for his second win at Chicagoland Speedway driving the No. 44 Ansell-Menards Ford on June 4th for the Messina Wildlife Animal Stopper 150 in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Also, be sure to visit a Menards location to purchase your next pair of Ansell Gloves.
