QUOTES

Carl Edwards on racing at Chicagoland Speedway:

“It is going to be an exciting day of racing with the ARCA cars running and the Nationwide series. It is a short trip from Kansas Speedway so it will be fun to go over there. The race holds a little extra importance because the first race of the Chase is held at Chicago so that will be a little extra time on the race track which will be nice. Mike Beam said we have a fast race car so it should be fun.”

Crew chief Mike Beam on racing at Chicagoland Speedway:

“We are bringing the same car that we won with at Texas. We feel confident that we can take this No. 60 Fastenal Ford back to victory lane. Since Carl will be traveling back and forth between Kansas and Chicago, we will have Brian Ickler help with getting the car set-up. We will make the needed adjustments during the race to get the car to Carl’s liking.”
