• According to NASCAR’s loop data… White is scored second among closers at Kentucky Speedway behind Kyle Busch.

The First Nine: In his first nine starts of 2011, White has earned one top-10 and four top-15 finishes. The Richmond, VA native has led four laps and recorded an 18.6 starting average coupled with an 18.8 finishing average and has completed 92.85 percent of all laps attempted (1364 of 1469).

This is the same No. 23 GunBroker.com Chevrolet that White drove to a 17th-place finish at Kansas Speedway, a 14th-place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway and his season best finish of 10th at Phoenix International Raceway in February.

Rearview Mirror-Texas: Starting 20th, White raced inside the top-10 for most of the WinStar World Casino 400k at Texas Motor Speedway. However, a tire gamble with 30 laps remaining in the 168-lap event relegated the rookie team to a 16th-place finish in the ninth event on the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) schedule.

Get to the Point:

Following a top-20 finish for White and Joe Denette Motorsports at Texas, the No. 23 GunBroker.com team is up one position in the 2011 NCWTS owner point standings to 19th; a mere 9 points outside the top-15 and 42 points outside the top-10.
