Last Race Recap – Long last raced in the NCWTS at Texas Motor Speedway on June 10. Long scored a career-best NCWTS finish of 11th despite getting caught up in a last lap incident at the fast 1.5-mile track.
No. 20 Panhandle Grading & Paving Toyota Tundra– Following the wreck at Texas, the Panhandle Motorsports team successfully repaired chassis No. 1, allowing Long to run her favorite truck again this week at Kentucky Speedway.
Mid-Season Break – In the four week break in the NCWTS schedule, Long kept busy as she relocated from her hometown of Pensacola, Fla., to Concord, N.C. The move will allow the young driver to be closer to her Panhandle Motorsports team, which is based in nearby Mooresville, N.C. The nineteen-year-old also took a cruise to Haiti, Conzumel and Jamaica with her family to celebrate her recent high school graduation.
Marketing Opportunities – Long and the No. 20 Panhandle Motorsports team are currently seeking marketing partners for the 2011 NCWTS season. For more information on sponsorship opportunities, please contact Spire Sports + Entertainment or Panhandle Motorsports.
