THE QUOTES

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., No. 6 RickyvsTrevor.com Ford Mustang:  “Iowa is a fun racetrack.  Obviously we had a good run the last time we were there.  It’s a racy racetrack and the bump in one and two makes it really fun.  We’re taking a new car so I’m excited about that with a new body with new updates on it.  Hopefully we’ll be faster than what we were last time.  We’d like to lead a lot of laps and win hopefully we can do that.”

IS IT A LITTLE BIT OF GAMBLE TO BRING A NEW CAR BACK TO IOWA SINCE YOU RAN SO WELL THERE BACK IN MAY?  “No, not at all because everybody else is making their cars better so we’ve got to make ours better.  If you show up at the racetrack with the same car that you had last time everybody else is going to be better and you’re going to be about the same.  We passed a lot of race cars last time we were at Iowa so hopefully we can have a really good night in the pits, have a really fast car and keep it up front.”

Mike Kelley, Crew Chief, No. 6 RickyvsTrevor.com Ford Mustang:  IOWA LOOKS LIKE A CARBON COPY OF RICHMOND.  “Iowa is a seven-eighths mile short track but it carries so much more speed than Richmond.  It races almost like an intermediate car.  You’ve got to have a good aero-balance on the car.  I feel really good about going there.  It’s a great racetrack.  For a stand-alone Nationwide event the fans are excited about having us there it makes everyone race a little harder.”
