PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Harvick returned to the driver’s seat of the No. 33 Rheem Chevrolet Impala for the Nationwide Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The two-time series champion started from the eighth position and led five times for 31 laps before crossing the finish line in fourth.

HARVICK’S THOUGHTS ON RICHMOND:

“I’ve always liked racing at Richmond and enjoy racing at night. I think everyone likes night racing. Richmond, like the other flat tracks, really suits my driving style, plus we’ve been able to run really good there. I have five wins in the Nationwide Series including last year’s fall race. I’m hoping we can get this Rheem Chevrolet back into victory lane this Friday night and make it six.”
