Roush Fenway Takes Title Hopes to Valley of the Sun

With only two races remaining in the 2011 season Roush Fenway Racing takes its title hopes to the desert of Phoenix, where it will look to hold its point leads in both the Sprint Cup Chase and Nationwide Series’, at one of its most successful tracks on the circuit.

Roush Fenway Continues to lead Chase

With only two races remaining in the 2011 season, Roush Fenway continues to hold the top position in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Carl Edwards leads the field by three points as the teams head down the final stretch of 2011. Matt Kenseth is currently fourth.

The Leader

Headed down the final stretch of the season, Roush Fenway leads both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series point standings. Carl Edwards leads the Sprint Cup Chase by three points. Ricky Stenhouse Jr., holds a 17-point lead in the Nationwide Series standings, and No. 60 NNS Ford trails the Nationwide owner’s points lead by only two points. There are two races remaining in the 2011 NASCAR season.

Counting Down to 300

Roush Fenway needs just one more victory to secure its 300th NASCAR win. The organization’s 299 NASCAR wins have been accumulated over the last 24 years. Trevor Bayne became the 17th Roush Fenway driver to win a NASCAR race for Roush Fenway. Roush Fenway scored its first NASCAR victory on Oct. 22, 1989 with Mark Martin at Rockingham Speedway.
