DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona International Speedway, home to NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious race — the Daytona 500, will celebrate the ninth annual NASCAR Day on Friday, May 18.
Between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Daytona International Speedway will celebrate NASCAR Day in front of the Tours and Ticket Office with lunch, raffle prizes and music. In addition, the Florida Blood Centers will be on site for a blood drive from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Lunch combos will be available for $3 and raffle tickets are $1 with prizes available such as:

NASCAR Day pins and NASCAR Unites wristbands will be available for purchase and all proceeds from the NASCAR Day celebration stay in the local community and benefit Speediatrics, the pediatric care unit at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach.
NASCAR Day is an annual celebration of NASCAR’s fans, charities and spirit. Since it began in 2004, NASCAR Day has raised nearly $10 million for charity.
The stars of NASCAR return to Daytona International Speedway on July 6-7, 2012.
