Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger R/T) Finished 12th “We were anywhere from a 10th to 15th-place car today.  We made good adjustments all day on the Miller Lite Dodge and had solid pit stops to run a little better than that.  We were just kind of stuck.  We didn’t make the car worse and we didn’t make it better.  The guys on the Miller Lite Dodge did a good job executing to get us a solid finish.  It was really all I had today.”

WHAT HAPPENED ON PIT ROAD WHEN YOU STALLED THE CAR?  “Just stalled the car.  We only lost two or three spots.”

DID YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOU WERE CATCHING UP ON THE TRACK?  “A little bit.  We were about the same all day.  We tried some things this weekend and just didn’t get the speed out of the car that we needed.”

YOU COME BACK HERE IN THE FALL FOR A CHASE RACE.  CAN YOU TAKE AWAY ANYTHING FROM TODAY?  “Yeah, we need to find more consistent speed in our car.  We were OK today, but OK isn’t going to win you races.   We have some work to do before we come back here in a few months.”

Paul Wolfe (crew chief, No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger R/T) “It was tough day. We never really had good speed in the car all day.  We adjusted on it and tried some different things.  We just weren’t able to find it today.  We used some strategy to help get us track position at one point that moved us a little bit.  Overall, we just couldn’t get it to run the way we wanted to today.  This track hasn’t been a good one for us.  We tried something new this weekend and found that it didn’t work.  Back to the drawing board.”

A.J. Allmendinger (No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger R/T) Finished 16th “Wish we could have at least pulled out a top 15, but we just struggled all weekend.  The guys made some big changes Saturday after qualifying for the start of the race and for those first few laps before the red flag it felt decent but pretty quick into that next run we got tight and the car just felt on top of the track.

“From there we just spent the rest of the race chasing the balance…just couldn’t get both ends of the car working at the same time, kept going from one extreme to the other and didn’t feel like the right rear was ever really in it.  It’s frustrating for me, for my guys, everyone. I was looking forward to this weekend since this has been a pretty good track for me in the past and we had a good tire test here so just really disappointed we couldn’t bring home a better finish for the Shell Pennzoil Dodge.”

Todd Gordon (crew chief, No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger R/T) “A tough day for us.  I think this race track has a lot of swings in it as it rubbers up and comes back.  Everybody struggled with race cars today and other teams seemed to dampen that a little bit.”
