Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger R/T) Qualified 10th WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED THAT WILL MAKE YOU BETTER IN THE CHASE THIS SEASON? “I think you’re always learning as a driver and the sport is always evolving so you try to keep up with it. One of the two things that stay the same is the pressure that the chase has and learn how to work around that. You know for us I think we’re more prepared for that than ever. I’ve got a good combination of youth and experience on our team, not just myself but our whole team, and we’re ready to go.”
HOW WAS YOUR DODGE IN QUALIFYING? “I thought it was pretty decent. I could have done a little bit better job with the lap but all in all in I was proud of how it went.”
IT LOOKED LIKE YOU HAD A CLOSE CALL IN TURN 2. DID YOU GET INTO THE FENCE? “Nah, I was just trying real hard. That’s my job (smiles).”
Sam Hornish Jr. (No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger R/T) Qualified 11th “It was okay. It was a little bit tighter than what I thought we were going to be. It probably was a little bit more in there for the amount of speed we picked up I don’t think I got everything out of it. It’s a little bit different than driving the Nationwide Dodge Challenger into the corner. And when I drove it in almost as far as I drove it in on the first lap and I had to go further on the second lap I’m like man, I’m not sure what to think right now. I wish we had a little bit more but all-in-all I feel like we need to be smart about it and have a good race tomorrow. I finished sixth and eighth here coming from 36th and 38th. Hopefully we’ll be able to move forward.”
