Program to provide additional savings to Fuel Rewards Network Cardholders when new driver Joey Logano wins
Houston – It’s a good year for “22.” Shell, the no. 1 selling gasoline brand in the U.S., is bringing back its popular WINsday promotion for the third consecutive year to save Shell $aver Cardholders money on their fuel purchases. Every time 22-year-old Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion, wins a points race during the 2013 season, current Shell Saver Cardholders can receive a savings of 22 cents per gallon when they purchase high quality Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines or Shell Diesel on the Wednesday – or WINsday – following the win using their Shell Saver Card®.* The season kicks off Feb. 24 in Daytona and races run through Nov. 17, so Shell Saver Cardholders will have 36 opportunities to save more than usual on their fuel purchases at Shell.**

The WINsday promotion has also expanded this year to provide additional savings to Shell Saver Cardholders who are also registered Members of the Fuel Rewards Network™ (FRN™) program. Shell Saver Cardholders who use their Shell Saver Card on WINsday will receive an email with a FRN™ Rewards Code and activation instructions. Once their FRN Rewards Code has been activated, the additional cents per gallon savings will be added to their FRN Card Account that can be redeemed on a future purchase of high quality fuels at a participating Shell branded station***. *If a points race is delayed and ends later than a Monday, the savings is available two days after the win. (For example, if Joey wins a race on Tuesday, the 22 cent per gallon savings will occur on Thursday.)
**Two non-points races will be run during the season: Feb. 16 and May 18, during which the WINsdays promotion will not apply. The promotion will also not apply to the Feb. 21 duels
*** Fuel Rewards Network™ Card fuel savings are limited to 20 gallons per purchase per vehicle. Offer expires on the last day of the month, two months after the month in which that FRN™ Rewards Code is activated. The FRN Rewards Code must be activated by December 31, 2013.
**** Fuels savings are limited to 25 gallons per purchase per vehicle, or limits placed by Shell and/or limits placed on your payment card by your financial institution, each of which may be lower.
