Landon Cassill Chicagoland Speedway preview

NATIONWIDE SERIES IN
SPOTLIGHT THIS WEEK

JOLIET, Ill. – This week the Nationwide Series stands alone.

It’s a rare off week for the Sprint Cup Series, and the
Camping World Truck Series also is idle. That makes Nationwide the focus of the
weekend as the series roars into Chicagoland Speedway for Sunday’s STP 300, one
of the season’s spotlighted events.

Landon Cassill will be back in the JD Motorsports with Gary
Keller Flex Seal No. 4 Chevrolet for the 200-lap, 300-mile test.

Chicagoland, located in the distant suburbs of the Windy City,
is a high-speed 1.5-mile track that tests both horsepower and handling.

“All of the 1.5-mile tracks are very different,” Cassill said.
“Some are similar enough that you can take the setup from another, but more
often it’s different. Each one has its own deals, and, if you’re not changing
your car for every little difference in the track then you’re going to fall
behind.”

Cassill hopes to carry the Flex Seal Chevy forward this
weekend.

THE RACE:  300 miles, 200 laps, race 18 of the
Nationwide Series season
