ADVANCE NOTES

·         Pastrana at Watkins Glen

o   Travis Pastrana will make his first start at Watkins Glen International this weekend in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS).  This is his second road course race in the NNS, having finished 16th at Road America earlier this season.

o   Pastrana is no stranger to right hand turns.  From 2006 – 2009, he won four consecutive Rally America Championships.

·         The Car

o   Saturday’s race at Watkins Glen will be the first for Chassis RK-757.  This chassis served as Pastrana’s back-up car at Road America.

·         Local Connections

o   Front tire carrier, Ryan Gamble returns to his home state of New York this weekend.  His hometown of Sanborn is located about three hours away from the track.

·         Recapping Iowa

o   Pastrana and the No. 60 Roush Fenway team finished 27th at Iowa Speedway after a flat tire caused contact with the wall during the US Cellular 250.

o   He remains 14th in the NNS point standings.
