It’s Bristol Baby…Preparing to tackle what’s known as Thunder Valley, The Bullring and The World’s Fastest Half-Mile, Jeb Burton and the No. 4 Arrowhead team will make their NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut at the infamous Bristol Motor Speedway this week. Racing under the lights in Wednesday’s UNOH 200, Burton will battle the field to keep his second-place spot in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings.
This Week’s Silverado…The No. 4 Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) team will unload chassis TSM-211 at Bristol Motor Speedway. This particular truck won the pole award and landed a top-10 finish at Rockingham Speedway earlier this year. Burton’s teammate Kyle Larson also got a second-place finish in TSM-211 last year at Phoenix International Raceway.
Shooting for Charity…An avid outdoorsman who loves hunting and conservation, Jeb Burton will join the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities on Tuesday afternoon for the Shooting Stars Tournament Presented by the NRA. Attendees will have the opportunity to shoot with Burton with all proceeds going to charity.

Previous Race Recap…Jeb Burton put on an impressive show in his first visit to Michigan International Speedway, breaking the track’s qualifying record en route to his fourth pole of the season. After dominating the first half of the Michigan National Guard 200 and leading the most laps of the race, Burton’s went on to finish 10th, his seventh top-10 finish of 2013.

The Last Great Coliseum…James Buescher and the entire Rheem team will head into Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) looking to ride the wave of momentum after last week’s victory at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) and continue their climb up the series points standings in search of their second championship. Buescher has moved back into third in the points, just one point behind Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) teammate Jeb Burton for second place. In the last two races at BMS, Buescher has recorded two top-10s, finishing fourth and seventh, respectively.
Gotta Have a Rheem…After Buescher was able to give Rheem their first win of 2013 at MIS, he and the No. 31 TSM team aim to follow up that win with another at the UNOH 200 at BMS. Chassis Info…The Rheem team will bring chassis TSM-228 with them to Bristol. This particular chassis was last raced at Martinsville Speedway earlier this year where it spent much of the race inside the top five before ultimately finishing 14th.
Previous Race Recap…Buescher came into the Michigan National Guard 200 at MIS looking to put the previous outing behind him and his Rheem team. Coming off solid practice sessions and a stellar qualifying effort, Buescher started the 100-lap race in the third position. After dropping back in the field for the first half of the race, Buescher worked his way up to the top five with under 10 laps remaining. Coming to three laps to go, Buescher made a great move on the first and second-place trucks in Turn 3 and vaulted himself to first. Buescher grabbed the lead and never looked back, earning his first victory of 2013.

Brazilian In Bristol…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to the mountains of Tennessee for the UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Paludo has three previous starts at the 0.533-mile oval, earning his best finish in his 2010 debut. Paludo battled back from 23rd to finish ninth in what was his first career NCWTS start.
Parabéns…In addition to being the site of his first ever Truck Series race in 2010, Bristol Motor Speedway is home to another special milestone for Paludo and his family. Son Oliver was born on August 22, 2011, in time to make his at-track debut for the 2011 Bristol race. Oliver, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at only eight months old, turns two the day after this year’s event.
This Week’s Silverado…Paludo and the No. 32 AccuDoc Solutions team will unload chassis TSM-216 this week at Bristol. TSM-216 was the chassis Paludo raced to a 10th-place finish at Rockingham Speedway in April. The truck most recently hit the track at Dover International Speedway in May.

First Time Out…Brandon Jones is slated to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut in the Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) No. 33 Katy Spring Chevrolet Silverado at Bristol Motor Speedway on Wednesday, August 21st. Jones has some previous experience at Bristol Motor Speedway, where he raced earlier this season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series race. A mid-race accident and a severed battery cable forced Jones to retire early from the race after running inside the top 10.
