No. 95 WRL General Contractors Ford Fusion
This Week’s Leavine Family Racing Ford Fusion at Las Vegas Motor Speedway …Michael McDowell will pilot Chassis No. PRS-847 in the Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This Ford Fusion is new to the Wally Rogers-led team
McDowell at Las Vegas Motor Speedway … Although this weekend marks McDowell’s first start with Leavine Family Racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Glendale, Ariz., driver has made four other NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at the 1.5-mile track, earning a career-best 33rd-place finish at the track in February 2010. In two additional NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at the track, he finished sixth in 2009.
All in the Family …
The WRL General Contractors logo will adorn the hood this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Team owner Bob Leavine is also the owner of WRL General Contractors Ltd., which has been in operation for more than over 35 years. WRL General Contractors Ltd. work includes the construction of commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
A dragon’s tale … Black Dragon Tools, a full-season associate sponsor of the No. 95 Ford, will be featured on the Ford Fusion’s quarter panels.
Going once, going twice, sold … Michael McDowell will participate in the annual NASCAR Driver Auction hosted by the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities on Thursday, March 6 at Sam’s Town Live! inside Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall. Gates open at 5 p.m. and bidding will begin at 6 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the opportunity to ride with McDowell during the pre-race driver introduction lap for the Kobalt 400.
Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas … On Friday, McDowell will sign autographs from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at The Pub at Monte Carlo located inside Monte Carlo Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The Monte Carlo Resort and Casino will also be an associate sponsor on the No. 95 Ford Fusion this weekend.
