No. 43 Team Has Confidence This Weekend Coming Off Nashville Test

The NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to the mid-west this weekend for its first stand-alone event of the season. The Nationwide drivers will take center stage for their only Sunday race of 2014 at Iowa Speedway. Coming off of a test at Nashville Superspeedway, Dakoda Armstrong is looking forward to his return to Iowa, a track he is very familiar with.

The New Castle, Indiana native has a total of six starts at the .875-mile track in different racing series, earning one top-five and three top-10 finishes. His best finish at the track was fourth in the ARCA Racing Series event in 2010, and he earned a top-10 finish in the series the prior year. Armstrong has four starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Iowa, posting his best finish of 10th in the spring of 2013.

“Our results may not show it, but we’ve had some pretty strong runs the last two or three races. I think Iowa will be another track where we’ll run well. Iowa is another one of my favorite tracks. I’ve had some really good runs there. It’s a track that you can really race, and it’s fun to drive. It’s kind of like a short track, but it has a bit of a speedway feel to it being that’s it’s a little bigger. I really enjoy racing there, so I’m excited to go back.”
