RAB Racing No. 99 Rheem Toyota Camry NNS Preview: Michigan International Speedway

Return to the Irish Hills…James Buescher returns to Michigan International Speedway, a track in which he captured one of his two victories in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) during the 2013 season. The victory was a special one for the Bueschers as it was the first race in which their son Stetson attended. Buescher has one previous NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at the two-mile D-shaped oval in 2002, where he started fourth and finished in the runner-up position.

Gotta Have a Rheem…For 27 races in 2014, Rheem will adorn the sides of the RAB Racing No. 99 Toyota Camry. Rheem is privately held with headquarters in Atlanta and U.S. operations in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Indiana, North Carolina and Texas. In its 89th year of operation, the company is a global manufacturer of residential and commercial heating and cooling systems; tank, tankless, solar and hybrid heat pump water heaters; whole-home standby generators, controls, swimming pool and spa heaters; indoor air-purification products; commercial boilers; and commercial refrigeration equipment. The company’s premium brands include Rheem, Raypak, Ruud and Richmond, as well as commercial refrigeration brands Russell, Witt, ColdZone and Kramer, which are part of the company’s Heat Transfer Products Group (HTPG) division. Rheem products have been recognized with countless industry and consumer awards for reliability, innovative design and high quality.

Tune In…The NASCAR Nationwide Series will take a week off before returning to the two-mile D-shaped oval of Michigan International Speedway on Saturday, June 14. The Ollie’s Bargin Outlet 250 can be seen on ESPN starting at 2:00 p.m. EDT. The event can also be heard on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90 and on MRN Radio.

What does winning at Michigan last year mean to you?

“Winning that race and having Stetson there probably meant more to me than winning a championship in the Truck Series.  It’s one that I’ll never forget — it meant a lot.  It was pretty incredible because of the season that we had been having was not going that well and then the first week that I brought my son to the race track turned it around and won that race and then won Iowa a couple weeks later and went on to finish third in the points.  It just kind of turned around our season and probably too late in the year to do anything towards the championship, but it still turned around our season and made it a successful one.  It was pretty special.”
