SADLER WANTS SOME LUCK IN THE IRISH HILLS: Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team head to Michigan International Speedway this weekend to compete around the two-mile track in the Irish Hills of Michigan. In nine NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at Michigan, Sadler’s recorded two top-five and six top-10 finishes with 11 laps led. Sadler has also made 24 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Michigan, with one top-five and six top-10 finishes. Sadler also competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2010, where he finished ninth.

JUST THE STATS: After 12 races in the 2014 season, Sadler is currently in second place in the Nationwide Series driver champion point standings, four points back from the lead. The Emporia, Va., native has one win, one pole award, five top-five and nine top-10 finishes.

OFF WEEK FESTIVITIES: Last week the Nationwide Series did not have a race on the schedule and Sadler made sure to capitalize on the rare days away from the race track. Sadler said, “I had an amazing off week relaxing and spending quality time with my family and kids. I was also able to get out and have a little fun with my friends at the Luke Bryan concert in Raleigh, NC. He rocked it! We had such a great night.”

ELLIOTT SADLER QUOTES: “Michigan can be a very difficult track because there are so many driving lanes. Some years the low lane is better, while in other years riding higher up near the wall has been faster. It all depends on the track temperature and the driver’s preference. It will be crucial for our team to have two great practice sessions on Friday to make sure we find out which lane has the most speed. Michigan can be a very fun track to race at because we have so many opportunities to pass, and you can carry your speed throughout the entire racetrack. Our team has been working really well together this season and hopefully we can grab the points lead this weekend.”

RACE INFO: The Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 250 at Michigan International Speedway will be on ESPN at 2:00 p.m. ET, on Saturday, June 14th, as well as MRN and SIRIUSXM 90.

FATHER’S DAY: Sadler will honor his father, Herman Sadler, at Michigan International Speedway by placing his name above the door during the race on Saturday afternoon. In addition, Sadler will also reward one of his lucky fans with the opportunity to give a special gift to their father. Sadler launched a promotion where his fans submitted group pictures with their father to Elliott’s Twitter handle, @Elliott_Sadler, or to his official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ElliottSadlerOfficial) including the phrase, #LetsGoRaceDad. The winner will receive a VIP experience of a lifetime and will be sharing his VIP experience at MIS with his father.

BRANCH DECAL PROGRAM: For each race that OneMain Financial is the primary sponsor on the No. 11 Toyota, two branches will be highlighted on Sadler’s rear quarter panels. The branches selected for Michigan are No. 104 in Troy, MI, and No. 027 in Muskegon, MI.

THINK PINK: The OneMain Financial driver will sport pink Oakley driving shoes throughout the entire Nationwide Series season to show support for breast cancer awareness and honor his mom, Bell. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, and is now a survivor. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on his race-worn shoes throughout the season, with proceeds going toward breast cancer research and education.
