CLINT BOWYER, No. 15 5-hour ENERGY Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Finishing Position: 10th
What did you battle with the car in the race?
“Our car was really good all weekend long. It’s just tough right now to compete with that horsepower they’ve (Hendrick Motorsports) got right now. That’s a pretty distinct advantage when you look at the results on that. Just incredible. That deal cycles, but it sure seems like its pretty unfair right now.”

MATT KENSETH, No. 20 Dollar General Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position: 14th
How do you feel about the result from today’s race?
“Really it was about where I thought we would be — it’s about how we ran most of the weekend unfortunately. Just don’t have it — I don’t know how else to explain it. We just can’t fix it on pit road. We were pretty close now and then on balance, but just can’t get within close enough speed of the leaders to be able to hang on to the track position even when the team gives it to me. It’s disappointing. I feel like this is a really good track for me and we have just really been off all weekend.”

COLE WHITT, No. 26 Speed Stick Gear Toyota Camry, BK Racing
Finishing Position: 28th

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Express Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position: 29th

BRETT MOFFITT, No. 66 Toyota Let’s Go Places Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Finishing Position: 34th
How was the race?
“It was a learning experience for me. Obviously, we didn’t finish where we wanted to. We got in some trouble there with 90 (laps) to go and just could never come back from that. Learned a lot and learned a whole lot about the aero so it was a good day I guess for that matter.”

ALEX BOWMAN, No. 23 Dr. Pepper Toyota Camry, BK Racing
Finishing Position: 40th

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M’s Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position: 41st

BRIAN VICKERS, No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Finishing Position: 42nd
What happened in the accident?
“It’s frustrating. I wish I knew — the car just came around going into (turn) three. I was trying to back the corner up and was taking it easy and just got loose and it just came around from me. I saved it all the way up to the wall and I thought I had it saved and ultimately it just came around and I lost it. I don’t know what happened. The car just came out from under me. The track seems really slick right now and it’s frustrating. Everyone on this Aaron’s Dream Machine did a great job all weekend and we had a really fast car. It’s always frustrating to be out this early.”

Did you get into the marbles at the top of the track?
“I really don’t know. I didn’t have that experience all weekend. The car was just really loose getting into (turn) three and that was it.”
