McClure Looks to Improve on 23rd-place Finish from Earlier this Season

Two to Go This Time By: After posting a 26^th-place finish at TMS, McClure is looking to rebound and have a solid outing at Phoenix Int’l Raceway. With 14 starts under his belt at the one-mile track, McClure has completed 93.6% of the total laps attempted and has a track-best finish of 19^th (2011). Earlier this season, McClure posted a 23^rd-place finish after rain showers forced the event to conclude earlier than the advertised distance.

McClure’s thoughts on Phoenix: “Phoenix is a fun place to race. We’ve always had decent outings there. We were respectable in the spring and this particular car has produced some of our best finishes of the year. We will go put our best foot forward and see how it is.”

No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry: Crew Chief Wes Ward has selected chassis No. 7 for this weekend’s race. This is the final time the Reynolds Wrap paint scheme will be raced this season. Chassis No. 7 was last used at Kansas Speedway where McClure brought home a 19^th-place finish.
