This Week’s Texas 28 Spirits Stage Toyota at Auto Club Speedway:  JJ Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 233 in the Drive4Clots.com 300 at Auto Club Speedway. Yeley last drove this car a few weeks ago in Atlanta where he brought it home to a 16th place finish.

Yeley at Auto Club Speedway:

JJ will be making his 10th NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the Auto Club Speedway to go along with his 11 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the track.  Yeley has one top-10 finish in XFINITY Series competition which was a seventh place effort in the 2006 event at the Fontana, California track.

JJ started 14th and finished 19th in this event last year which was his second start for JGL Racing.

Owners Home Track:

This weekends NASCAR XFINITY Series event at Auto Club Speedway is special for the entire JGL Racing organization as it is the home track of team owner James Whitener.  Whitener, a native of Texas, resides in the Bakersfield, California area where he operates several businesses.

JJ’s Thoughts on Auto Club Speedway:

“I have always enjoyed racing at Auto Club Speedway.  For some reason I always seem to run pretty well there and it is such a fun track to race at.  Obviously this is yet another big week for this JGL Racing team as this is the home track for our owner James Whitener.  You always want to run well but there is something even a little more special when it is the home track of your team owner. We had a real strong run here last year with our No. 28 Toyota and I think the overall package we have this year is so much better.  So for multiples reasons our expectations are high entering the race this weekend.”

Special Appearance:

JJ Yeley will be making a special appearance this Thursday night in Bakersfield, California.  The JGL Racing driver will be appearing at the Texas 28 Spirits Stage from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. PT, so if you are in the area stop by and pay him a visit. Texas 28 Spirits Stage is located at 1517 18th Street in downtown Bakersfield, California.
