One Year Ago at Bristol

On Friday an accident in practice caused the team to bring out the backup Ford, but Biffle was still able to qualify eighth.  Corded left front tires early in the race left Biffle thinking he had a loose wheel, leading him to focus on tire wear.  After being awarded the “lucky dog” twice in the race, Biffle earned a 12th-place finish.

In the Points

Biffle is currently 19th in the point standings, 29 points out of 10th.

Biffle on Bristol:

“It’s been a busy week with testing in Kentucky, but I’m really looking forward to Bristol this weekend.  We run hard at Bristol, which is always fun and exciting.  You race right up against the fence, as fast as you can go. Track position is key – you’ve got to be up front and stay out front.”

Puccia on Bristol:

“Bristol is the fastest half-mile track on the circuit and has been good to us in the past.  There is a lot of grip at Bristol and at times the bottom groove can offer side-by-side racing, but most of the time you’ll see the cars up top.”
