A total of 22 Team Chevy drivers will start the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Round 12 on the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) circuit. The 400-lap/600-mile race is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 24. Live coverage will be available on FOX, PRN, Sirius NASCAR Radio Channel 90 and NASCAR.com.

CHEVROLET DRIVERS STARTING IN THE TOP-10:

  • Kevin Harvick, No. 4 Budweiser/Jimmy John’s Chevy SS will start eighth
  • Kyle Larson, No. 42 Target Chevrolet SS will start from the ninth position
  • Martin Truex, Jr., No. 78 Furniture Row/Visser Precision Chevy SS rolls off 10th

TEAM CHEVY IN NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES (NSCS) COMPETITION:

  • Chevrolet has won 38 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Manufacturers’ Championships
  • Team Chevy drivers have scored 745 wins and 672 poles in NSCS competition

  • Chevrolet drivers have won 43 of 112 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Wins by active drivers are:
    • Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe’s Patriotic Chevrolet SS, has seven victories at Charlotte Motor Speedway (’03, ’04 – TWICE, ’05 – TWICE, ’09 & ‘14)
    • Jeff Gordon, No. 24 Drive To End Hunger Chevrolet SS, has five wins at Charlotte Motor Speedway (’94, ’97, ’98, ’99 & ’07)
    • Kasey Kahne, No. 5 Liftmaster Chevrolet SS, has visited Victory Lane at Charlotte Motor Speedway four times (’06 – TWICE, ’08 & ’12)
    • Kevin Harvick, No. 4 Budweiser/Jimmy John’s Chevrolet SS, has gone to Victory Lane at Charlotte Motor Speedway three times (’11, ’13, & ‘14)
    • Jamie McMurray, No. 1 Cessna/McDonald’s Chevrolet SS, has two (2) trophies from Charlotte Motor Speedway (’02 & ’10)
    • Kurt Busch, No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS, has one (1) win at Charlotte Motor Speedway (’10)
    • Tony Stewart, No. 14 Bass Pro Shops/Mobil 1 Chevrolet SS, has one (1) trophy from Charlotte Motor Speedway (’03)
  • A Chevrolet driver has won two of the last three races at Charlotte Motor Speedway
  • A Chevrolet driver has sat on the pole at Charlotte Motor Speedway 31 times
  • Team Chevy drivers have scored 189 top-five and 373 top-10 finishes at Charlotte Motor Speedway
