CHASTAIN IN CAR 01 FOR CHICAGOLAND

JOLIET, Ill. – Ross Chastain has a new ride for this week’s Owens Corning AttiCat 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Chicagoland Speedway.

Chastain is filling in this weekend for teammate Landon Cassill in the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller 01 Chevrolet, sponsored by Gerber Collision & Glass. Chastain normally drives the team’s No. 4 Chevrolet, which will be piloted this weekend by Harrison Rhodes.

“It’s going to be a little different at the track this week, but I’m looking forward to filling in for Landon and doing good things in his car,” Chastain said. “Chicago is the sort of track I love to run on, and I’m sure we’ll have one of our best cars of the year there.”

Chastain jumped to 15th in Xfinity driver points with a 21st-place finish last week at Michigan International Speedway.

He has raced twice at Chicago – once in Xfinity and once in the Camping World Truck Series.

Practice is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is scheduled at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 9:30 p.m.
