RHODES CARRIES MOMENTUM TO KENTUCKY

SPARTA, Ky. – Harrison Rhodes hopes to back up an excellent run last week at Daytona International Speedway with another top-10 finish in Friday night’s Kentucky 300 Xfinity Series race at Kentucky Speedway.

Rhodes turned in the best race of his season Saturday at Daytona, finishing ninth to move up one spot to 22nd in the seasonal driver standings.

He has experience at Kentucky, having driven in three Xfinity races at the track.

“I’m looking forward to getting back to Kentucky,” Rhodes said. “It’s a track I’ve always enjoyed running. It’s not easy. The track has a lot of ‘character’ and presents some difficult challenges.”

Practice is scheduled at Kentucky at 2 and 4 p.m. Thursday. Qualifying is set for 3:45 p.m. Friday, with the race to follow at 7:30.
