ADVANCE NOTES

Wallace at Kentucky Speedway

Roush Fenway Racing’s Bubba Wallace makes his second career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kentucky Speedway this weekend.  In his previous start, which came earlier this season, Wallace started eighth and finished seventh.

In two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Kentucky Speedway, Wallace started on the outside pole both times, with his best finish of second coming in 2014.  In his two starts, Wallace led a total of 88 laps.

Recapping Chicagoland Speedway

Wallace recorded a career-best third-place finish on Saturday night in the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Chicagoland Speedway.  Crew chief Seth Barbour made a bold pit call, which left Wallace with just enough fuel to cross the finish line in his No. 6 Roush Performance Ford Mustang.

QUOTE WORTHY

Bubba Wallace on racing at Kentucky Speedway:

“I’m ready to get back to Kentucky.  It’s a track with a ton of confidence and success for me.  With the third place finish last week, the team is fired up and ready to get back on the track.  We have focused on the areas we were lacking from the first race, and we are continuing to find more speed for the car.  I’m pumped to have Bleacher Report back on our Ford Mustang.  The car looks great and will look even better in victory lane!”
