FLIR Partners With Chase Contender McMurray and Chip Ganassi Racing in New Hampshire

Concord, N.C. (Sept. 23, 2015) – Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) announced today that FLIR will be on the No. 1 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Chevrolet SS, driven by 2015 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup contender, Jamie McMurray. The No. 1 FLIR Chevrolet SS will compete in the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) on Sunday, Sept. 27 (2 p.m. EDT, NBCSN).

FLIR is the world leader in the manufacturing of thermal cameras and imaging sensors. FLIR products are employed in a variety of capacities, including public safety, military and industrial industries. In addition to infrared imaging technologies for commercial and government applications, FLIR has extended access to those technologies to the general public with the FLIR ONE for use with hand-held devices and the FLIR FX for in-home monitoring and outdoor security.

Notes of Interest:

·         FLIR:  This is the first NASCAR sponsorship for FLIR and the company will be showcasing thermal images of the No. 1 car across its social media channels.

·         McMurray at New Hampshire Motor Speedway: The Sylvania 300 will be McMurray’s 26th career NSCS start at NHMS. McMurray made his first start in July 2003 and has an average start of 19.3 and average finish of 20.7. He has a best finish of third-place. His best start of second-place came at last year’s Sylvania 300. McMurray is currently 12th in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings.
