KENTUCKY NEXT FOR RHODES

SPARTA, Ky. – Harrison Rhodes wants to work “full time” at this week’s Kentucky Speedway race.

On the series’ spring visit to the track, Rhodes ran only 90 laps before parking his JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet with electrical problems. He finished 35th.

Rhodes is looking for a better outing in Saturday’s VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300.

“Obviously, we didn’t get a full shot at Kentucky last time,” Rhodes said. “I’m anxious to get back and try that place again. It’s a neat track, and one that’s fast and challenging. We’ll be ready.”

Rhodes has raced four times at the Sparta track.

Practice is scheduled at 3:30 and 6 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 4:45 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 8 p.m.
