Delaware Office of Highway Safety to Sponsor Yeley and JGL Racing at Dover

MOORESVILLE, NC (September 30, 2015) – J.J. Yeley and JGL Racing are proud to announce that the Delaware Office of Highway Safety (OHS) will sponsor their No. 28 Toyota at Dover International Speedway this weekend.  OHS will serve as Primary Sponsor on the JGL Racing machine in the running of the Hisense 200 on Saturday October 3rd at the track known as the “Monster Mile”.

“I have had a great relationship with the Delaware Office of Highway Safety over the years and it is great to continue that this weekend,” said Yeley.  “They have a lot of exciting things scheduled over the weekend and I am looking forward to a lot of fun.  All of us on this JGL Racing team are honored to represent OHS at Dover.”

Yeley, JGL Racing and the Delaware Office of Highway Safety (OHS) are teaming up at Dover International Speedway to remind fans to drive safe, always plan ahead and Designate a Sober Driver before the party starts. OHS is challenging fans to make smart choices  with an interactive display trackside all weekend where  J.J. will make various appearances throughout the weekend.  Yeley will also serve as Grand Marshal of the “Drive Sober” 125 NASCAR K&N Series race on Friday.  Additionally, Yeley will make an autograph appearance at the OHS exhibit at the track as well as participating in the Delaware Sports League  Corn Hole Tournament at Famous Tim’s Tavern in Wilmington Thursday evening.

“JJ has always been a great spokesperson for traffic safety- encouraging fans to make smart decisions and promoting safe driving within the NASCAR community. We are excited to have him back and to also bring a new partner, JGL Racing, to help share our message,” said Jana Simpler, Director for the Office of Highway Safety.

Yeley will pilot chassis No. 235 once again this weekend at Dover International Speedway.  It will mark the eighth time this season he has raced this chassis and the third race in a row.  Last week at Kentucky Speedway the NASCAR veteran driver steered this No. 28 Toyota to a 15th-place finish.

“We value our partnerships such as this one with OHS ,” added James Whitener, owner of JGL Racing.  “They have had a long standing relationship with J.J. and we welcome them to the JGL Racing organization.  We have taken many steps to grow our race team and am confident that we will provide them with a first class effort this weekend in Dover.”

J.J. currently sits 12th in the overall NASCAR XFINITY Series overall drivers’ standings – just 84 points out of the top-10.

The running of the Hisense 200 will be held this Saturday October 3rd at Dover International Speedway.  The 200-lap event can be seen LIVE on NBC Sports Network at 3:30 p.m. ET and heard on Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM Channel 90.
