ADVANCE NOTES

Stenhouse Jr. at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Stenhouse Jr. has seven NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway with an average starting position of 23.4 and average finishing position of 22.9.

The two-time XFINITY series champion made his first Sprint Cup start at Charlotte in 2011 in the famed No. 21 finishing an impressive 11th; his best Sprint Cup career finish at the 1.5-mile track.

Earlier this Year at Charlotte Motor Speedway

After battling back from being one lap down and maneuvering his Ford up inside the top-20, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was running in the 16th position before a mechanical issue sent him to the garage for repair. Thanks to the hasty work by the No. 17 team to repair the issue, Stenhouse Jr. was able to return to the track and pick up two positions in the final laps, salvaging a 37th-place finish.

Juicy Juice

Juicy Juice is made from a commitment to happiness! With flavors that kids can’t get enough of, the sweet taste of our juices brings smiles with every sip. Best of all, Moms love knowing they’re making a good choice by giving their kids an excellent source of vitamin C with no added sugars. Made from real fruit picked at its ripest, juiciest peak, it’s goodness, made juicy™.

Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Charlotte:

“We all enjoy racing in our backyards in front of so many friends and family. We had a solid run earlier this year but suffered a mechanical issue so I’m looking forward to getting back there this weekend. We have been making gains the past few weeks which I think we will see more improvements this weekend. We have a new paint scheme on our Ford this weekend so hopefully we can have a strong run in our Juicy Juice Ford.”

Sandler on racing at Charlotte:

“We’ve been making gains on our 1.5-mile program so I’m looking forward to Charlotte this weekend. We have scored four top-20 finishes the past four weekends so we need to continue that consistency. I think every driver and team wants to win at our ‘home track’. I’m really optimistic about our No. 17 Juicy Juice Ford this weekend.”
