CASSILL ROLLS ON TO KANSAS

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Landon Cassill will add to his long worksheet at Kansas Speedway in Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 Xfinity Series race.

Cassill is a veteran at the 1.5-mile track. He has raced in 10 Sprint Cup, two Xfinity and one Camping World Truck Series race at Kansas.

Cassill will drive the G&K Services/AB May Chevrolet for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller in Saturday’s 300-miler.

“I’ve been around that track a lot of times,” Cassill said of Kansas Speedway. “It’s one-and-a-half miles long like several others we run on, but it has its own characteristics. I like the track a lot.”

Practice is scheduled at the Kansas track at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 12:45 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 4. Four races remain on the 2015 schedule.
