ADVANCE NOTES

The two-time XFINITY champion has five NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) career starts at Talladega with an average finishing position of 12.2.

Last time at Talladega
After steadily running in the top-20 for a majority of Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Talladega Superspeedway, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. lined up in the ninth position for the final green-white-checkered finish. As the field took the green flag, a multi-car accident occurred behind the No. 17 Ford freezing the field earning Stenhouse a ninth-place finish.

Fifth Third Day
Every year Fifth Third celebrates 5/3 day on May 3rd by volunteering at local food banks and hosting food drives among other charitable acts.
Stenhouse Jr. will be going to Second Harvest Food Bank on Tuesday to help support the Fifth Third initiative of helping the local communities.
Roush Fenway Racing will be participating in a food drive to support Fifth Third Bank’s “Feeding Our Communities” initiative.

Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Talladega:

“After seeing the speed in our Fords at Daytona, I’m really looking forward to racing at Talladega this weekend. The last couple of weeks have been frustrating because our finishes definitely don’t reflect how we’ve ran for a majority of the race. Anything can happen at Talladega so hopefully we can keep our Fifth Third Ford damage free and be there at the end to contend for the win.”
