Through the FedEx Cares global giving initiative, FedEx is investing $200 million in 200 communities around the world by 2020.

Sonoma Preview: The Series heads to Sonoma Raceway for the first of two road course events on the 2016 NASCAR calendar. Hamlin owns one top-five finish and two top-10 results in 10 career starts at the 1.99-mile track, with a career-best fifth in 2009. He has led a total of 48 laps at Sonoma in his career. Denny’s special #11 FedEx Cares Toyota for Sonoma will feature five charities: the USO, National Urban League, Safe Kids Worldwide, JA Worldwide and the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation.

Hamlin Conversation — SONOMA:

How important is it for you to participate in initiatives such as FedEx Cares?

“Obviously for me, being part of such a great company that does so much for communities around the world is very important to me. I’ve had the chance to volunteer and give back to people and places all over the country, and this weekend in Sonoma will be no different. We helped raise $55,000 for very deserving organizations through our social voting campaign in May, and I’m excited for the #11 FedEx Cares Toyota design to hit the track at Sonoma.”
