Actor Jake Short serves as honorary pace car driver

BROOKLYN, Mich. (Aug. 25, 2016) – Actor Jake Short will serve as the honorary pace car driver for Sunday’s Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway.

Short, the star of Disney XD’s Lab Rats: Elite Force, will lead the field to the green flag for the Pure Michigan 400. He will also serve as the Honorary Kids Drive NASCAR Ambassador this weekend at the racetrack.

“It’s a thrill for me to go to Michigan to participate in in a NASCAR event,” Short said. “We all grown up and want to be race car drivers – and I get to be experience that. There’s nothing like a NASCAR race.”
