47th Annual Citizen Soldier 400 at Dover International Speedway

New and Notes:
Heading into this weekend’s event at the Dover International Speedway, the No.32 Can-Am/Kappa team will travel to “The First State” with Jeffrey Earnhardt behind the wheel for the 47th annual Citizen Soldier 400 at the 1-mile “Monster Mile” in Dover, Delaware.

Sunday’s event will mark Earnhardt’s 18th career start in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series(NSCS), and will be his second attempt at taming “Miles The Monster”. Thus far in 2016, Earnhardt has 15 NSCS starts, with his most previous being last weekend at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway where he finished 37th.

The Mooresville, NC native has three career starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series(NXS) at Dover earning a best finish of 20th which came in the fall 2014 event. Additionally, Earnhardt has one career start in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East(NKNPSE) at Dover. In his lone NKNPSE start, Earnhardt finished third after starting from the pole driving for his grandfather at Dale Earnhardt Incorporated where current Go Fas Racing car chief Clinton Cram served as his crew chief.

Joining Go Fas Racing and Earnhardt this weekend is new associate partner R. Brooks Mechanical Inc. Founded by Rich Brooks in 2001, R. Brooks Mechanical is a family owned and operated HVAC-R business. They are an Exclusive Trane Dealer, and Trane Comfort Specialist Dealer. As Trane Comfort Specialists, they have attained the highest standing and are committed to being the best in every aspect of the HVAC business, from installation and service, to customer satisfaction and employee training. R. Brooks Mechanical is proud to serve the HVAC-R needs of Baltimore, Cecil County, Harford County and New Castle and Kent County in Delaware.

Jeffrey Earnhardt on Dover:
“Dover is one of my favorite tracks, and it reminds me a lot of Bristol. Earlier this year at Dover we showed some good speed, but had a mechanical issue which hurt our finish. If we can continue to excel on pit road, and keep the mistakes to a minimum I’m confident we can come out with a good finish.”

Chassis Info:
Crew Chief Wally Rogers will be bringing chassis GFR-890 to serve as the primary car. This Chassis was last ran by Joey Gase at Chicagoland two weeks ago. Chassis GFR-842 will serve as the backup car.
