Sunday’s event will mark Gase’s 12th career start in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series(NSCS), and his fourth start at the 1.5 mile Kansas Speedway. Gase made his three previous NSCS starts at Kansas driving for Go Fas Racing, earning a best finish of 34th after starting 38th which came earlier this season in the spring event.

Gase is no stranger to the Kansas Speedway, as he has four starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series where he has a best finish of 19th, coming back in the 2013 event after starting 32nd driving for Jimmy Means.

Midwest Transplant Network staff will host organ donor families this Thursday, October 13th from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Midwest Transplant Network located at 1900 West 47th Place, Westwood Kansas for “Hand Prints of Hope”. These personal tribute from donor families will ride on the No.32 Ford Fusion that Gase will drive in this weekend’s Hollywood Casino 400.

Joey Gase On Kansas:
“I’m really excited to get back behind the wheel of the Go Fas Racing No.32 Ford Fusion again this weekend at Kansas! This is the first time all year I will be revisiting a track in a Sprint Cup Series Car. After the race in May, I feel like Wally, Myself, and our team learned a lot, and I’m looking forward to using that knowledge in the Spring race and applying it to this weekend. I can’t thank everyone at Midwest Transplant Network, JT Concrete, and everyone at Go Fas Racing enough for the opportunity this weekend.”

Chassis Info:
Crew Chief Wally Rogers will be bringing chassis GFR-842 to serve as the primary car. This chassis was last by Jeffrey Earnhardt at Loudon in September. Chassis GFR-890 will serve as the backup car.
