Matt Tifft and GoGreen Equipment Team Secure Top-Five Finish at ISM Raceway

Finish: 3rd
Start: 10th
Points: 6th

“First of all, I have to thank all of my team for the No. 2 GoGreen Equipment Camaro they gave me today. We knew we were going to have to be on offense all day to have a shot to make the Championship 4 and we definitely did that. We had a great Stage 1, finishing sixth. Unfortunately, I was just a touch too quick on pit road and got a speeding penalty before Stage 2, which forced me to start in the back. Our Camaro was really fast though and that helped me get back into the top-10 prior to the end of that stage’s conclusion. We needed a win at that point to advance to the next round, and we had a couple of shots at it. In the end, my Camaro just built a little bit too tight to get it done in the closing laps. I know my team will keep after it though, and we’ll go for the win next weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.”

Shane Lee has Strong Showing in His First Race at ISM Raceway in CIPT/Race to Give Chevrolet

Finish: 14th
Start: 9th
Points: 11th

“Today was another learning experience for me. I’ve never raced at ISM Raceway before, but after this weekend I have some great experience under my belt for my next trip out here. My forward drive in our CIPT/Race to Give Chevrolet was good all day. I was fast on restarts, but that fire-off balance would start to fade as my tires got hot. I was on the verge of a top-10 finish, but as the runs got shorter at the end, the racing got rougher. Overall, it was a good day for our team. We had solid weekend and were able to bring awareness to all that the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma does to save injured kids and their Race to Give day on November 13. I’m looking forward to heading to Homestead with these boys next week.”

Daniel Hemric Finishes Second in Phoenix and Advances to Championship 4 for Second Consecutive Season

Finish: 2nd
Start: 8th
Points: 4th

“I am extremely proud of everyone on this No. 21 South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet team for their efforts, not only today but all season up to this point. Over the past few months, everyone at Richard Childress Racing and ECR Engines have been bringing the best race cars I have ever driven, and now we have a chance to fight for the championship for the second year in a row. We started this season as a redemption tour after the mechanical failure we had last year in Homestead, and now we have a shot at that next week. We will go to Homestead and perform the way I know this team is capable of doing. I am fully confident in Danny Stockman and all the guys on this team. I want to thank Richard Childress, the Gaughan family, everyone at the South Point Hotel & Casino and Chevrolet for giving me this incredible opportunity. We will go down there next week and make the most of it.”
