Todd Gilliland Notes

Todd Gilliland is back to racing ovals this weekend as the No. 34 team prepares for 400 laps at the Dover Motor Speedway. While this will only be Gilliland’s fourth NASCAR Cup Series start at the one-mile, Delaware track, the 25-year-old driver has four Truck Series starts at the track, having earned one top-five and two top-10 finishes.

Love’s Travel Stops returns to Gilliland’s Ford Mustang Dark Horse this weekend. Fans are encouraged to download the Love’s Connect App to unlock exclusive benefits and savings. This Summer, users can save 10¢ per gallon on gas and up to 25¢ per gallon on auto diesel, along with access to great mobile-only deals. Fans can download the app from Google Play and the Apple App Store.

In honor of National Hot Dog on July 16th, Love’s Connect App users can get a free hotdog or any roller grill product from July 14th to July 18th at any Love’s Travel Stop’s. Limit one per app user, per day, for five days.

“Dover is a track I haven’t been historically good at, but I have a feeling that will change this weekend,” said Gilliland. “Coming off of two road courses, it’s nice to go back to racing on an oval but Dover is a wild race. You feel like you’re flying when dropping into the corner and on the exit with all the banking. It’s a roller coaster.”
