DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 Sport Clips Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 6th

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M’s Crispy Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 10th
How was your backup car during the qualifying session?
“Really proud of my M&M’s Crispy Toyota team for getting this backup car ready and in good enough shape to qualify in the top-10. We’ll have some more adjustments to make during the race tomorrow, but I feel confident we can get things figured out pretty quickly once the green flag drops.”

CARL EDWARDS, No. 19 ARRIS Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 13th
How was your qualifying run?
“Our Camry was a lot faster than 13th, so a little frustrated with that. We’ve got a really fast race car. This track is so much fun to drive. We’ve got 500 miles to work our way up there and I just can’t wait to go racing. It’s so much fun with this package. Our ARRIS Toyota is really good.”

Are the rear tires wearing out more quickly than the front?
“It seems like that, but that’s good. The more the car changes throughout the run, the harder it is to drive and the more competitive it is, so I think it’s awesome. What we’ve got going right now with the downforce and Goodyear bringing this tire, I think it’s perfect.”

MATT KENSETH, No. 20 Dollar General Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 14th
How was your qualifying run?
“We did a lot better than we did last year. Just the first round, we did okay. The second round, we just had a lot less grip. We changed the balance a little bit on the car and I didn’t get through (turns) one and two very well. That’s where I think we lost a lot of our speed, so we’re just a little bit off, but it was better than it was yesterday and 14th is a lot better than where we started last year.”

DAVID RAGAN, No. 55 Ol’ Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Starting Position: 21st
How was your qualifying run?
“I got into the fence a little bit off of turn four and I really felt like we had a good lap going and it’s one of those decisions you’ve got to make. Typically you get a little tight in (turns) three and four and sometimes when you put the throttle on the car will rotate some more and it may turn more and I knew it was going to be tight, so just barely got into the wall and had to lift a little bit. Real proud of the guys on this Aaron’s Toyota. They did a nice job this weekend. A little bit of a bummer that we have a few more cars to pass but this is a long race and we’ve got a good car.”

MATT DiBENEDETTO, No. 83 Cosmo Motors Toyota Camry, BK Racing
Starting Position: 25th

CLINT BOWYER, No. 15 Buddy Baker Tribute Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Starting Position: 28th

JJ YELEY, No. 26 Beds for Kids Toyota Camry, BK Racing
Starting Position: 36th

JEB BURTON, No. 23 Estes Toyota Camry, BK Racing
Starting Position: 41st
