Armstrong at Las Vegas Motor Speedway:
Dakoda will be making his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to go along with one Camping World Truck Series start at the track.  Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 23rd at the Las Vegas track which came in the 2014 event.

Dakoda’s Thoughts on Las Vegas:
“Las Vegas is a slick race track which has you always fighting for grip.  Add in some big bumps down in turns one and two – it all creates a challenge.  It is very important to find the right balance on your car so you can maximize your grip and handle well over the bumps.”

“We struggled a little last week in Atlanta in finding the handling on our No. 28 Winfield Toyota.  But I am confident in Steven Lane (crew chief) and the guys on this JGL Racing team that we will be much better this week.”

Atlanta Rewind:
Dakoda Armstrong and his JGL Racing team entered the second race of the 2016 season with much anticipation as they would be working together for the first time on a 1.5-mile track. However at the end of the 250-mile event, Armstrong would steer his No. 28 Winfield Toyota to a disappointing 21st-place finish in the running of the Heads Up Georgia 250 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

The 21st-place finish would drop Armstrong to the 13th position in the overall NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers’ standings – just three points out of the top ten.
