Richard Petty Motorsports Aligns with Pioneer Technology Group for 2016 Season

Software Development Company to have Associate Placement on No. 44 Ford Driven by Brian Scott

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 22, 2016) – Richard Petty Motorsports announced today an alignment with Pioneer Technology Group for the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. The software development company will have associate placement on the No. 44 Ford Fusion driven by Brian Scott.

In their first NASCAR partnership, Pioneer Technology Group looks to grow their client base and provide targeted software solutions and content management solutions that increase productivity, improve delivery and reduce costs across a wide spectrum of institutions in both the public and private sectors. They strive to help companies and local governments do more with less through their state of the art technologies and experienced leaders who have the knowledge to make every client of theirs function better.

“We are long-time fans of both NASCAR and Richard Petty, and we’re excited to partner with Brian Scott and the No. 44 team this season,” said Pioneer’s President Steve Rumsey. “It will be fun to see our logo go around the track at 200 MPH and to speak to companies about how we can help their business. NASCAR and Richard Petty Motorsports provide the platform and marketing expertise to help us get our message out. We look forward to growing our business together.”

Pioneer Technology Group, a company that demonstrated a long and consistent ability to create new and exciting technologies, is a great fit with Richard Petty Motorsports, as they carry on the winning tradition of the Petty name.

“We’re thrilled to have Pioneer Technology Group join us at RPM,” said Mike Hargrave, Chief Marketing Officer at Richard Petty Motorsports. “We have similar mindsets. Our organizations succeed by attacking problems though innovation and implementation of solutions in our respective industry. The Pettys have been innovators on and off the track for decades, and we look forward to supporting Pioneer as they develop solutions for today’s complex software needs.”

Pioneer Technology Group will hit the track for their first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race Sunday, April 24 at Richmond International Raceway riding on the No. 44 Albertsons Companies/Shore Lodge Ford driven by Brian Scott.
