Roush Fenway Eyes Inaugural Kentucky Cup Win After posting another one-two finish in last Saturday’s Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway, Roush Fenway sets its sights on Kentucky Speedway, where in addition to the Nationwide Series,  the 1.5-mile track will play hosts to its first ever Sprint Cup event this weekend.

Roush Fenway Kentucky History Overall Roush Fenway racing has started 41 NASCAR races at Kentucky Speedway, turning 16 top-10 finishes,10 top fives, three wins and two poles. Roush Fenway has led 519 laps of NASCAR action at Kentucky, while averaging a 15.5 finish in both the truck and NNS.

Kentucky Wins Keep Falling Down    Roush Fenway’s Greg Biffle won the first ever NASCAR race at Kentucky in 2000, taking the checkered flag in the truck race. He finished second in the inaugural Nationwide Series race there in 2001. Roush Fenway will look to build on that legacy with a win in Saturday night’s inaugural Cup race.

Nationwide Series at Kentucky Roush Fenway has started 16 Nationwide races at Kentucky, posting one win, four top fives and seven top 10s. Roush Fenway finished second in the first three races at Kentucky, before breaking into the win column in 2005.

More at Kentucky In addition to its success in the Nationwide Series, Roush Fenway boasts two wins and seven top-10 finishes in 21 Truck Series starts at Kentucky. Carl Edwards has won in both the truck and the NNS car at the 1.5-mile track. With a win Saturday night, Edwards would boast victories in all three major series at Kentucky.

Roush Fenway in Inaugural Events Roush Fenway has a solid history in inaugural NASCAR events. The organization won the inaugural Cup event at Las Vegas in 1998, as well as the inaugural Cup and Nationwide races at Texas Motor Speedway in 1997. In addition, Roush Fenway won the inaugural Nationwide races at Nashville and Elkhart Lake, as well as the first ever NASCAR race at Kentucky in 2000.
