NASCAR Nationwide Series Drivers Allgaier, Leffler and Sorenson to Hold Kids Autograph Session at Zoo Atlanta; Families Get Discounted Admission
HAMPTON, Ga. (July 29, 2011) – NASCAR Nationwide Series stars Justin Allgaier, Jason Leffler and Reed Sorenson will hold a kids autograph session on Thursday, August 4 at Zoo Atlanta, as part of festivities for the upcoming Sept. 3 Great Clips 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., the drivers will paint with one of Zoo Atlanta’s elephants. Kids in attendance will vote for their favorite painting, with the winning artwork being auctioned off to benefit Speedway Children’s Charities. At 12:30 p.m., drivers will then hold an autograph session with the kids.
Zoo patrons who wish to attend the event can mention “NASCAR” at the time of their ticket purchase and received a $3 discount off general admission to Zoo Atlanta for up to four people. The offer is not valid with other offers or discounts and is not redeemable with online ticket purchases. The discount offer is valid from August 4, 2011 through October 31, 2011.
Zoo Atlanta is not the only place that families can get great value for entertainment. Atlanta Motor Speedway is offering children 12 and under free general admission for both the Great Clips 300 and the Friday, Sept. 2 Atlanta 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races on Labor Day Weekend with a paid adult ticket.
NASCAR night racing returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway this Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2-4. Tickets for the AdvoCare 500 start at $39 and $19 for students. Children 12 and under admitted free for the Great Clips 300 and the Atlanta 200 with an adult ticket.
