2012 West Coast NASCAR season to open with new March 4 race date
(PHOENIX, Ariz.) – Beginning next Tuesday, November 1 race fans can purchase tickets to the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500T at Phoenix International Raceway – NASCAR’s second stop of the 2012 season following the Daytona 500. The SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500T weekend – which kicks off PIR’s 2012 NASCAR season – will feature a new date of March 2-4. This summer, NASCAR announced the 2012 schedule will move back one week – shifting the Daytona 500 to Sunday, February 26 and the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500T to Sunday, March 4. The SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500T anchors a full weekend of NASCAR action at PIR, featuring races in NASCAR’s two top series. The SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500T NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will take place Sunday, March 4. The event weekend will also feature the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday, March 3.
Value pricing is back – fans can receive extra savings by purchasing tickets for the 2012 SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500T early. The value pricing period takes place November 1 through December 31, 2011. Regular pricing will begin on Jan. 1 and runs through to the start of the March event weekend.
Also making a return is the GO Value Package. GO 2 Days to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500T and NASCAR Nationwide Series Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 races and pay only $40.
